July 2018 Newsletter

Here are some July highlights .

This year I participated in the Sketchbook Project for the Brooklyn Art Library. If you’d like to see my sketchbook in person but don’t live in Brooklyn, the whole 2018 collection is going on tour. It will be in Chicago August 3-5 at Hyde Park Arts Center 5020 S Cornell Ave Chicago, IL 60615 and in ATLANTA September 21 – 23 at Ponce City Market 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30308. Check out a digital copy of my sketchbook here.

July was international zine month! To celebrate check out some of my zines. If you a hard copy of any of these zines, send me an email and I’ll see what I can do.

I’m currently reading New Dark Age by James Bridle. Verso, the publisher describes it as a book about, “how, despite the apparent accessibility of digital information, we’re living in a new Dark Age.” As someone who is currently obsessed with the last dark age, I highly recommend it.

I bought this amazing artwork by artist Angela Dalinger. Please check out her work.

I participated in the #eyememe art social media hashtag. Here is my contribution.
