Some Highlights from January 2019 and some upcoming news for February 2019

I participated in the Night of Thousand Cocks fundraiser at Public Pool. My rooster artwork was featured with many others to help raise $10,000 for the space. The fundraiser is still going. Please donate if you can here.  Cock n’ Draws during gallery hours, Saturdays from 1-6pm. Beer will be provided to artists that come out to participate! Each cock that goes up is available for $40. The Good Tyme Writers Buffet will be closing the show on Saturday, February 23rd, 7-10pm.

The Book Suey writers group is going great! I had my first ever group critique and am stoked by all the useful feedback I got a on short story I wrote a few years ago. I plan to edit and rewrite the story and begin submitting it for publication soon.  Check out the Book Suey Storytelling series for other cool literary events in Hamtramck.
